Messy ChurchNovember 23, 2015
Messy Church is a fresh new way of experiencing church!
It’s: Fun, Family Friendly, For all ages
Messy Church is in 3 elements; craft, celebration and a meal together. The craft is has a biblical theme and the Messy Church material provides many different ideas of crafts for each theme. Likewise the Messy Church outlines songs and the story for the celebration time. This is followed by a meal together.
We’re doing Messy Church at Maxwelltown West Church on Friday 4th December 2015 between 5.30pm and 7.00pm. We’ll be looking at the Christmas story using lots of crafts, songs and messiness and then we finish with some food together. Messy Church is about family time so we’re inviting families to come to share together- children must be accompanied by parents or other responsible adults. Why not come along and experience church done differently?
The idea of Messy Church is that the family move together round the crafts and celebration time in the church before sitting together having something to eat.
It’s a fun time, and the family includes as many of the family that can make it – but remember children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Access if by the church halls door in Rosemount Street and admission is free.
