SAFEGUARDING CLEARANCE 
Sunday School staff and helpers, Crèche helpers, Parish Visitors and any others who come into contact with children or vulnerable elderly people and who did not manage to attend the two recent meetings are asked to contact David Wood (Tel.720236).

 MUSICAL EVENING
A Musical Evening in aid of the Church Organ Fund is to be held at 7.00pm on Saturday 1st June, tickets price £7.50.  Everyone is asked to make a huge effort to attend and to sell as many tickets as possible.  Stephen and Alistair are making every effort to help us pay off the outstanding sum needed for the organ and your support is essential.

CRAFT FRIENDSHIP GROUP
 This group will be meeting on Mondays (11.00am to 1.00pm) on various dates until the end of June. All are welcome but this time you are asked to bring your own work. Details may be had from Anita Stott (Tel. 255080). Dates will be in the Church Diary.

TALK IN St GEORGE’S CHURCH
David Silver, director of Out of Zion Ministries in Israel, will speak on the subject “The Relevance of Israel to the Church Today” in St George’s Church at 7.30pm on Tuesday 21st May. This is a free event and refreshments will be served in the Hall at the close of the talk.

SAFEGUARDING CLEARANCE
As intimated last week all Sunday School staff and helpers, Crèche helpers, Parish Visitors and any others who come into contact with children or vulnerable elderly people do require to have safeguarding clearance. Unless covered by the preceding, elders and deacons do not need this clearance. If you were unable to attend on Friday 3rd May, please make a point of attending this coming Friday, 10th May, when David Wood, our Safeguarding Officer, will be in attendance at the Church from 6.30pm to 8.00pm to go through this with you. Details of documentation required are on the notice board in the Simmons Hall.  If you have clearance already please discuss this with David (Tel.720236).
