Due to the pending retirement of our long standing Church Officer, a vacancy has arisen for this post.
- Prepare halls for outside lets as required for meetings. Ensure halls and toilets are clean and all pathways and grass cleared of rubbish.
- Ensure heating and lighting is used in the most economical way to meet all requirements.
- Ensure the grounds of the church are kept in good order.
- Ensure cleaner’s duties have been fulfilled and adequate supplies are available at all times.
- Be responsible for the security of the church.
- Refer all matters of repair and maintenance to the fabric convener.
The successful candidate will attract an hourly rate of £8.21. They will require some experience of working alone and managing their own time.
Hours of Work:
10 hours per 5 day week.

FLOWER DISTRIBUTION ROTA
Volunteers are being sought for the delivery of flowers next year. This will involve two Sundays in the year taking flowers to the homes of the recipients after the service at a time to suit yourselves. If you are able to help please contact P. Jardine
TEAS AFTER THE SERVICE
Please join us in the hall after the service for tea, coffee, juice and fellowship Volunteers to help with this important part of our ministry are still needed so if you can help, please sign on the list in the Simmons Hall or give yo ur name to M. Wallace.
The Badminton Club meets on Tuesdays at 7.45pm in the Main Hall, also on Thursdays at 7.30pm in the Main Hall. New members will be made most welcome.

MAX WEST FILM NIGHTS
The next Film Night is on Friday 11th October 2019 at 7pm. Please make sure you have it noted in your diary/calendar – we would hate you to miss it!!
The first meeting of the Good Companions will be held in the Committee Room on Wednesday 18th September at 2.00pm when David Johnson and Alistrer McEwan will present ‘Thank You for the Memories’. Please come and join us for what will be a most entertaining afternoon.
CHRISTIAN AID COFFEE MORNING

PILGRIMAGE 7 – HERITAGE WALK
On Saturday 5th October – a walk of about 4 miles, mainly on tarmac or gravel paths, taking in Maidenbower Crag, the Crichton Estate, Crichton Church, and Park.
